After graduating in Communications at the Catholic University of Milan, I had my first professional experience in Human Resources for a multinational company and afterwards, I have worked for ten years at the Istituto Europeo di Design, managing the Communication and Marketing department. In my life and work I love to get in touch with people and carry out projects building positive synergies in any situation.<\/strong> For this reason, at WINS I aim to create a positive experience for children and their families, so that they can live in a school where they feel welcomed, listened to and appreciated.<\/strong>

I was raised in a bilingual context, which has undoubtedly affected my passion for multicultural understanding; therefore, I pursued my studies inforeign languages – English, German, French – and have been awarded a Master\u2019s Degree MBA in Educational Leadership by the University of Cumbria (UK).
My area of expertise is language learning and development in Early Childhood, with a focus on English Phonics and Grammar.
As a former School Director of IB schools and mother to an IB student, I hold a comprehensive view of the benefits IB programmes provide to our children.
My extensive training and experience with IB programmes – PYP, MYP, DP – allow me to tune in to the school scenario easily and collaboratively work with the Senior Leading Team to magnify the current value of the school, as well as provide new targets and practices for the whole community.

I am originally from Saxony, one of the most beautiful regions in Germany due to its huge density of fortresses and magnificent castles.
After completing my university degree in\u00a0German as a foreign language, English and Italian<\/b>\u00a0I went to Italy.
Here I had the opportunity to teach German to all levels: from university students to professionals at the first training centres, down to little ones at European institutes.

As Primary Principal & PYP Coordinator at WINS, I bring more than 15 years of experience in education and advanced training in international teaching and learning. Originally from the Chicagoland area in the United States, I have calledl Turin home after relocating here 15 years ago. I completed my undergraduate studies in the US, followed by a masters in Italy, postgraduate degree in international teaching and learning, and currently completing an additional master in education in curriculum & instruction, specializing in elementary literacy.<\/p>\n

At WINS we strive to cultivate lifelong learners who are curious, resilient, and ready to take meaningful action throughout their academics in the PYP. I firmly believe that learning happens beyond the pages of a textbook; it is an active, real-world experience. That conviction underpins my strong advocacy for the IB\u2019s learner-centered approach. I am committed to bringing passion, high expectations, and purposeful inquiry to our team of teachers and our students in their classrooms so every child develops the knowledge, skills and dispositions for lifelong learning.<\/p>\n

In my leadership and classroom practice I promote positive, uplifting, dynamic and well\u2011organized learning environments where students feel safe to take risks, reflect, and grow. My career has included teaching across a variety of international contexts in Italy, which has also shaped my understanding of differentiation, cultural responsiveness, and authentic assessment.<\/p>\n
